Private Swimming Party

Since we live 2 hours away from the SSD and could not make yesterdays swimming party, we had one here today! At first Graham was not sure of the water. After throwing the ball in the pool he was into playing with the water but not fully getting in the pool.

Puppy Class

Last night was puppy class! Graham did real well at the class. We worked on shaping get dressed. We got to where he puts his nose throu the opening. I walked Graham over to the gas station, which he is a nice walker. He was not as confident as he was at the mall. He was unsure of the man holes and the loud music that was playing. He quickly recovered and was on his way. Other than that nothing special has happened. Graham does go to the vet tomorrow for his shots.

First Puppy Outing

So last night was Graham's first big outing. I say big because I have taken him to work, last night I took him to the mall. He was wonderful. The poor little guy only made it through half the mall. He was so tired I had to carry him the rest of the way. He had excellent attention and was not bothered by the baby stroller or the toddler that was trying to play with him. Unfortunatly I forgot the camera but here is a picture of his favorite sleeping spot!!

Meeting Us

My name is Sarah Kabata. Graham is my second puppy for Susquehanna Service Dogs(SSD). My first SSD puppy is Cinderella, she is 15 months old and she is a female black lab. Graham's full name is SSD Graham Cracker. We picked Graham up at the kennels when he was 8 weeks old. His father is SSD Fire and his mother is CPL (canine partners for life) Summer. He is one of eleven puppies. Graham is a pretty active puppy, although while at SSD last Friday you would think he was a very calm puppy.

Graham has an older brother Finch (ex seeing eye dog) and an older sister SSD Cinderella! Cinderella is not very nice to Graham when it comes to playing with toys. Every time he gets one she goes and steals it. Other than that they all get along.

I took Graham to work with and he was very well be haved for a 8 week old puppy. As Graham grows I will fill you in on all of his adventures.
